Facebook shuts down personal assistant M, says it "learned a lot"

After almost two-and-a-half years of introducing its own virtual assistant called M, Facebook is closing its shutter on the project, which until now was under the ‘Beta’ tag. Announced in October 2015, Facebook M was limited to around 2000 users in California in the form of a chatbot in Facebook Messenger. The social media giant has announced the last date of its virtual assistant M as January 19.
