
Emblems representing Nunavut were added to the iconic Centennial Flame last fall, but Public Services and Procurement Canada also undertook a major renovation of the monument on Parliament Hill. After spending at least $845,000 on the work, almost nothing remains from the original 1966 structure created for Canada's centennial.
