Apple pushed the industry towards ‘wireless’ connectivity couple of years ago with the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. However, with the iPhone 7 and iPhone 8 devices it gave a lightning connector to headphone jack for a smoother transition. This year it looks like Apple may leave its fans without any such support.
