The remote desktop protocol (RDP) that enables remote administrator access to a PC is highly vulnerable to dark web hackers with a potential to cripple cities and bring down companies. This is stated through an investigation led by the Advanced Threat Research team of cyber security provider McAfee. In its investigation, McAfee discovered that access linked to security and building automation systems of a major international airport could be bought for only US$10.
