Cryptomining is the most popular cyber crime malware after ransomware: Report

Malicious cryptominers accounted for 32 percent of cyber attacks in the first half of 2018, while ransomware accounted for 8% such attacks. This was stated in mid-year update to the Vulnerability and Threat Trends Report of cybersecurity provider Skybox Security. The report aims to help organizations align their security strategy by analyzing vulnerabilities, exploits and threats in play.
