The firm later apologized, rolled out an update that let users chose whether or not to throttle the CPU and confirmed that the ‘feature’ at that time was limited to iPhones until the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus. Now, the handset maker has quietly upgraded the list and has added three new iPhones on its support page.
