Flap over wooden fowl attracts art-loving flock after swan sculpture beheaded

More than 2,000 people have signed a petition to protect some endangered birds at Esquimalt Lagoon. The beloved birds are actually sculptured in driftwood and nails by a Langford artist with a passion for larger-than-life swans, ravens and owls.
