“Wild geese" is how Koreans refer to men whose children are studying abroad while their mothers look after them. In Montreal, nearly 3,000 Korean women are raising their children alone, while their husbands work in South Korea. Jennifer Yoon gives us a glimpse into a cultural phenomenon.
