Deferring rent not sustainable over the long term for small businesses hit hard by COVID-19

The Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses says its members have been hit hard by the COVID-19 closures and some will struggle to make rent this month. It's urging provinces and the federal government to provide emergency relief in the form of property tax cuts or rent subsidies.
