After a customer paid for a haircut with beef and potatoes, a family-run barber shop in southwestern Ontario has begun accepting other offers of food in exchange for a fresh cut. It's an example of the growing interest in bartering, driven by a tough economy, according to financial planner Shannon Lee Simmons.
