Kookum's got talent: Fashions designed by matriarch of famed Manitoba jigging family showcased on the runway

Dawn Harris-Flett is the matriarch behind the Ivan Flett Memorial Dancers, the dance group that made waves with their 2022 jigging/hip-hop audition on Canada’s Got Talent. Last week, her designs were featured in a Winnipeg event higlighting the work of Indigenous entrepreneurs in the food, fashion and music industries.
