Alberta's political polarization fuelled by identity, not ideology, survey suggests

Last week's Alberta election, in which the United Conservatives swept rural seats but lost heavily in the big cities, has raised fears of growing polarization. But an extensive survey conducted through the University of Alberta suggests the divide is more about identity than ideas.
