In 2015, Rayny Forster's mom was goofing around with his grindcore band in Windsor, Ont. She took the mic, screamed out the lyrics and got a taste for the genre. Forster filmed the session and the video went viral, kickstarting two years of recording and touring for Grindmother, who turns 75 soon and lives on Manitoulin Island.
