These northern cities exceed Ontario's housing goals — but should long-term care beds count?

Affordable housing developers and advocates in Greater Sudbury say the minimum wage needs to keep up with soaring rental prices as supplies dwindle.

The two northern Ontario cities recently received $1.52 million and $600,000 respectively from the province for exceeding their housing start targets in 2023, but only because long-term care beds were included in the final count.
