Fence installed at 121 Lane Street runs across the beach and into the water. To the left of the fence a sign reads "PRIVATE PROPERTY TO SHORELINE." Another sign on the fence reads "PRIVATE PROPERTY, NO TRESPASSING."

A fence erected along a Constance Bay beach is stoking tensions between beachgoers and waterfront property owners who have long been at odds over whether the beach should be accessible to the public.
