Halifax man devastated after insurer reverses decision to cover $25K cystic fibrosis drug

When Stefan Strecko saw that Canada Life would cover the cost of a groundbreaking new drug for cystic fibrosis, the 28-year-old man said it was a life-changing miracle. But after ordering a month's supply of the drug, valued at $25,000, Strecko was informed his insurance company had made a mistake and would not cover the medication's cost.
